In Summer 2008, the City of Sapporo in Hokkaido, Japan, will be flooded with hundreds of creators, innovators, researchers, digital rights activists, and the like – because the 4th annual iCommons Summit will be held in Sapporo next year.

The iCommons Summit 2008, hosted by the iCommons organization, co-hosted by Digital Garage, Creative Commons Japan, and the City of Sapporo, is a conference that focuses on the potential of Creative Commons licenses, unlocking digital copyrights, and free internet culture.
