Creative Tradition of The Ainu Music :
OKI is a musician and frontman for the DUB AINU BAND. OKI has become internationally renown for creating a distinct style of infusing elements of dub & Electronica with the Tonkori, a traditional Ainu stringed instrument. Tonkori is a long, flat instrument that produces its own distinct sound and is the only stringed instrument in the Karafuto Ainu musical tradition. In this episode, OKI talks about his upbringing and background, and how he came about to re-define Ainu music.
